If I were to rate our experience at Mount Engadine Lodge out of ten it would be a confident 20. We have had the pleasure of experiencing the Lodge in the Winter previously and it was an absolutely stunning trip escaping the hustle and bustle of the city just under two hours away from our city home. On this trip, we were able to experience the mountains in the beautiful Spring weather and let me tell you I would suggest experiencing both seasons! We were able to soak up the sunshine on the beautiful mountain-facing patio and still get to enjoy the stunning snow-packed mountains all around us. The drive up is full of hikes and things to see and makes you feel like you are driving in a movie.
We have stayed in the glamping tents twice now and I could not rave about these tents more. Just outside is your own private patio facing the gorgeous mountains and valley below where you can enjoy your coffee watching the sunrise in the morning. I can honestly tell you that the beds inside the glamping tents are the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. Ever. This is an experience I could not recommend more! You get to enjoy your own private bathrooms with glorious Rocky Mountain Soap products which just fills my heart with joy. There is so much to do around Mount Engadine Lodge as it's surrounded by hiking trails, you can snowshoe or cross country ski in the spring weather or just enjoy the views from the sunny patios. They so kindly provide a bagged lunch for your time out in the mountains for your convenience so there is no excuse but to explore the Rockies while you're surrounded by the beautiful nature scenery!

With Mount Engadine Lodge being located deep in the mountains and being quite removed from city life the food is all provided there! We got to enjoy this delicious afternoon tea which includes a charcuterie board and I enjoyed a glass of wine with mine which began our stay perfectly. The lodge is surrounded by big windows so you get to eat and enjoy the views all at the same time. It was the most perfect way to begin our stay!
I can’t even begin to talk about how delicious the food was! I had some food concerns with reactions in the past and they were able to accommodate my food restrictions so seamlessly and still delivered absolutely incredible meals.
The stay at Mount Engadine Lodge both times has been a stay that we will never forget. We cozied up in our slippers next to a wood-burning fire in the evening, made new friends with other guests who we have found have always been so sweet as well as the staff! I don’t know where they find such amazingly friendly people but they seem to just find the best. You feel so at home in their public areas, so much so I just never want to leave. I can’t say enough about how much we love staying at Mount Engadine, the views speak for themselves!
Whether it be a weekend away with your special someone, a honeymoon, girls weekend away, a mom and daughter vacay or just to get away from the city this is the place for you!
